Petrovas is the winner of the Diamond Tour at the Chuchle Arena Prague

On Saturday, the main competition of the CSIO4* CET Prague Cup at the Chuchle Arena in Prague was the Air Bank Diamond Tour with obstacles of 1.50 m. Adrius Petrovas from Lithuania won this Longines rated competition. Miloslav Příhoda was the best Czech rider.

The Air Bank Diamond Tour on Saturday, which was the last chance for the CSIO4* CET Prague Cup participants to qualify for the Grand Prix, saw a total of 39 riders with their horses, eight of whom represented the Czech Republic. However, none of the Czech riders made it to the jump-off.

Anna Kellnerová made one mistake on the gelding Hurricane D.D. and also received three penalty points for exceeding the time limit. Mariana Michlíčková on the stallion Dalton de Tiji, Sára Vingrálková on the gelding Comme-Laude W and Emma Augier De Moussac on the mare Diva all finished the course with four penalty points. 

The only Czech rider who did not make any mistakes was Miloslav Příhoda with the gelding Ibiza D. Unfortunately, he went over the time limit by 0,047 seconds and received a penalty point, which blocked his way to the jump-off. “I had a great ride. As I was the last rider on the course, I had plenty of time to watch a lot of other riders. My constant problem with Ibiza D. is that we fail to meet the time limits, so I knew it would be close call again. I had originally planned to shorten my route, but I did not quite managed to do that. But I’m really happy with the way Ibiza D. was jumping, it was a good preparation for tomorrow’s Grand Prix,” said Miloslav Příhoda in a TV interview shortly after finishing the course.

Four riders rode their horses cleanly on the shortened course. The slowest was Isabella Russekoff from Israel with the gelding Jumpy van de Hermitage. German rider Zoe Osterhoff was more than five seconds faster with the gelding Jaguar King WD, but her result was still not good enough for better than third place. Tani Joosten, representing the Netherlands with the gelding Galdal Me, was second with a time of 38.38. The victory went to Adrius Petrovas from Lithuania with the gelding Linkolns.
